Deku’s Real Quirk was Stolen!

Was Deku actually quirk less? Let’s try to answer this question. We saw in the 1st season that Deku and her mother visited Dr.Kyudai Garaki where on further checking he told them that Deku will never develop a quirk and will remain quirk less forever.

Most of us got satisfied with the reason that we got behind Deku being quirk less. As the show already explained that few percentages of the population would not be able to develop quirk, so Deku being quirk less does not really raise any questions. But there are some people who just like to think extra and make simple things harder in other words people with 100 IQs.

You know I already had watched all the previous seasons and am currently watching 7th season but never ever my mind came across such theories. Today I am going to discuss one of the most famous theories that say that Deku was not Quirkless but actually his quirk got stolen. You might be thinking who could have stolen it? and what kind of quirk he had?

Before answering this question I just want to give you a reminder that this is completely a fan-made theory and has never been confirmed by the Author of the My Hero Academia series by himself. There is one more theory too about his Father but I will discuss it another time. Making theories around something which have not been revealed yet makes more sense than making theories around something whose explanation we already have.

What was Deku’s, Real Quirk?

According to the most famous theory, it is none other than Decay. Yeah! it is the same quirk that Shigaraki has. But how is it possible? Of course, now it does not make any sense but it will make when you will learn more about it. Now let’s talk about who stole his quirk.

The one who stole his quirk was Dr. Kyudai Garaki. Dr. Ujiko was looking for children born with powerful quirks and stole them. As we already know that Dr. Ujiko was the one who told Deku and his Mother that he is Quirkless. But theory says that he did have a powerful quirk but he just did not know it. Then Dr. Ujiko secretly stole it and give it to All For One. And later All For One gave Deku’s quirk to the Shigaraki. The quirk of Shigaraki manifested when he was just five years old after an unknown man dropped him off. But we know that quirk generally started to show at the age of 4 and Shigaraki suddenly developed it at the age of 5. So, many viewers find it suspicious.

I know it may not sound good but I find it interesting although it does raise a few more questions and does not fit the story. It’s up to you whether to believe in this theory or not. If you have your own theory about it, you may comment below. Your theory may get a chance to feature in one of our upcoming articles.
