Blue lock just delivered its final episode in Japan which officially ended the 1st season of the anime series. Right after the action, a teaser has revealed which announces the plans for the continuation of the anime with both 2nd season and an anime movie titled BLUE LOCK: Episode Nagi. The story is based on a spin-off starring Nagi Seishiro.
The release date of the Blue Lock Season 2 has not been revealed yet.

Blue Lock manga is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been featured in Kondansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2018. It currently has 23 volumes as of now (March 2023).
Blue Lock anime series is written by Taku Kishimoto and Tetsuaki Watanabe and Shunsuke Ishikawa directed it. The animated production house is Eight Bit. Jun Murayama did all the music work. Its 1st season has 24 episodes which run from October 9, 2022 – March 26, 2023
Plot
In the FIFA World Cup, which was held in 2018 Japan ranked 16th in position. As a result of their poor performance, the Japan Football Association hired the football enigma Ego Jinpachi. His work is to make people stronger through a project called BLUE LOCK. It is a training program that was created to make world-class strikers. Those who will fail this program will never get a chance to represent Japan. Yoichi Isagi is a high school student and a passionate footballer whose playing style doesn’t suit his team. He got an offer from BLUE LOCK. He accepted and joined the program in order to become the best striker in the world.
