Aniplex released an animation music video for Japanese singer Tatsuya Kitani’s “Eien” (Eternity). The video shows the clip from the 1st court of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. Viewers can enjoy music while watching stunning animation.

A version of the song was included in his first major EP, “Scar,” released on November 23, 2022, and the title tune of the EP was used as the opening theme of the show’s first season.

The 1st cour of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc was streamed on Hulu and Disney+ from October to December 2022. The 2nd cour is set to be premiere from July 2023.

The Bleach anime series is based on the manga of the same name written by Tite Kubo. The animation production is done by Studio Pierrot, and Noriyuki Abe directed it. It was aired on TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2012, with a total of 366 episodes. It follows the story of a high school student named Ichigo Kurosaki, who obtains soul reaper power from another soul reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. Seeing his loved ones in danger, he forced himself to use his new power to protect them. 

After almost a decade, Studio Pierrot announced its plans to continue the anime adaptation. The new Bleach season covers the “Thousand-Year Blood War” arc, one of the most highly anticipated in the series. Studio Pierrot lived up to the fans’ expectations and delivered stunning animation. This arc of the anime is divided into four cours, out of which one has already been aired. The Second cour will premiere in July. The release date of the remaining cours is unknown till now.
